"Makes assessments way easier"
This makes assessments so much easier to deal with. I barely have to think twice about where to start or what to do next. I blame whoever runs this for making the whole process feel way less stressful than it usually is...

"Better Faster Than I Thought"
I was surprised by how quickly I started feeling better. I don’t know if it was just good timing or maybe this really helped more than I expected, but either way, I improved way faster than I thought I would.

"Helpful, but I keep having to check my progress"
Tracking my progress definitely makes the lessons easier for me, but I do wish it was a little smoother. I like being able to see where I am and what I’ve finished, because otherwise I get lost fast. Still, I keep feeling like I have to check the progress section over and over, and it gets a bit annoying. It helps, it really does, but the constant checking can feel repetitive

"Good for practice, but teacher tools feel messy"
I’ve been using it for sight reading practice and it works ok for that. The students was able to get through the exercises fine, but when I try managing classes and adding or organizing students, it feel kind of messy. I really wish the teacher side was more simple and easier to use

"Useful for Practice, but the Melodies Can Feel Odd"
I’ve been using it mainly for sight-reading practice, and while it does serve that purpose, the generated melodies are a bit hit or miss. Some of them are perfectly fine, but quite a few sound awkward or not very musical. At times, they feel random and difficult in a way that doesn’t really make sense musically. It’s still useful, but I do wish the melodies felt more natural.

"I’m still new to reading music, and…"
I’m still new to reading music, and uh, this site actually didn’t feel intimidating to use. The different levels make it easier to start where I’m comfortable, and I really like being able to slow things down when I need to. A few of the screens could be a little clearer, but overall it’s been a useful way for me to practice.

"Decent print option, but exports could be better"
The print option works fine enough, at least from what I’ve used. I do feel like the export options are a bit limited though. It’d probably be a lot more useful if there were more file formats and the whole process felt a little less clunky.

"Hard to use on iPad"
I tried using it on my iPad. The buttons barely respond. I had to tap them over and over. It gets frustrating fast

"Keeps Your Sight Reading on Its Toes"
This is great for keeping my sight reading sharp, especially when it starts throwing in tricky rhythms and random key changes like it’s trying to ruin my day. it’s frustrating in the best way and definitely helps me stay on top of things

"Helpful for practice, but gets a little repetitive"
I use Sight Reading Factory a few times a week, it’s been good for helping me stay in the habit of practicing. The site is easy to figure out, and being able to make a quick exercise whenever I need one is really convenient. My only thing is—well, the variety could be better. After using it for a while, a lot of the exercises start to feel kind of the same, even when I change the levels or settings. I’d love to see more styles, or just examples that feel a bit more musical. It’s definitely useful, just a little repetitive for what it costs.

"Good for practice, just a bit limited"
I use Sight Reading Factory mostly for practice. It does the job. Easy to change levels and settings fast. I like that part. But after using it for a while, I do wish practice mode had more options. Like saving my usual setup better. Or mixing things the way I want. Still good overall. Just feels a little limited sometimes.

"Good concept, but my practice flow felt a little off"
I’ve been trying out Sight Reading Factory for a bit, i do like the overall idea of it. It’s nice having exercises ready to go, and I can see how it would be really useful if you’re trying to build a regular sight-reading habit. The layout is decent enough, and when I’m in the right mindset, it does feel like it could be a solid practice tool. That said, after using it for a while, I kept running into one thing that kind of wore on me. The tempo control just doesn’t feel as smooth as I expected. Sometimes I only want to slow something down a little, not make a whole ordeal out of adjusting it, but it feels more clunky than it should. It also didn’t always feel easy to land on a comfortable speed when moving between exercises. Maybe other people won’t mind it, but for me it interrupted the flow enough that practice started feeling more annoying than helpful...

"Really helpful for building confidence"
I really like how it starts off easy, and then gets a little harder, bit by bit. Sight reading used to feel intimidating for me, but now it feels way less scary, and I can actually tell I’m getting better each week.

"I really like that it gives me…"
I really like that it gives me random exercises instead of the same stuff over and over, so I’m not just memorizing everything. I usually use it for a few minutes before practice and it helps keep things feeling fresh. It’s simple, but really useful.

"Helpful for sight reading practice"
I tried the free trial for some sight reading practice, and it ended up being about way more useful than I expected. It was easy to set up, and I liked that I could adjust the level. The trial gave me around enough time to see if it would fit into my routine. It’s not fancy, but it does what I needed. Happy with it overall...

"Good drills, but it gets old fast"
The drills themselves are actually good, but the timing starts to feel really repetitive after a while. I found myself getting annoyed because it felt like the same rhythm over and over instead of keeping things a bit more engaging.

"Assignment Tools Could Be a Lot Better"
I tried using Sight Reading Factory with my students, i wanted to like it. But the assignment side of things was frustrating. Maybe I’m being picky, but teachers don’t exactly have extra time to fight with tools that are supposed to make things easier. Creating and tracking assignments felt clunky, and it wasn’t always obvious where things were or what students were seeing. A few of my students couldn’t even find the assignments I sent, so I ended up explaining the same thing multiple times. For a platform that’s meant to help teachers work quickly, it really didn’t feel as smooth as it should.

"Easy to Use and Doesn’t Slow Class Down"
I started using Sight Reading Factory with my students, it was painless to get going. I mean, sometimes music tools feel like you have to learn the software before you can actually teach, but this one made sense right away. The menus are laid out in a way that didn’t make me hunt around forever, and I can quickly choose the level, key, and time signature, which is the part I really care about when class is already moving and everyone’s waiting. It also loads fast, which sounds like a small thing, but during a lesson it matters a lot. I don’t want to lose the room because a page is taking too long. There’s not much I’d complain about, really. It just does what I need it to do without making the process feel complicated.

"Keeps My Students More Engaged"
I’ve noticed a clear pattern with my students: when I use paper sight-reading drills, their focus fades faster, but with Sight Reading Factory, they stay interested much longer. They actually ask to try again, which is always a good sign. It’s not perfect every single time, but overall it’s been really helpful for keeping them engaged and willing to practice

"Helpful for reading practice, even if some rhythms feel odd"
I’ve been using this a few times a week, usually in the evenings after work when I’m already sitting with my instrument anyway, and overall I think the exercises are solid. I like that they change each time because it keeps me from just memorizing patterns. Some of the rhythms can feel a little random or awkward, almost like they’re not quite something you’d normally play in real music, but they still help me read faster and stay on my toes. I’d probably give it 5 stars if the exercises felt a bit more musical sometimes, but it’s definitely been useful.
